Job qualification

Bachelors in Education, NYS teaching certification preferred. At least 2 years experience with Native American students and knowledge of the SN community. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have experience in managing students. Must possess analytical skills and strategic mindset. Be CPR, First Aid certified or obtain certification upon hire. Must complete a Tuberculosis test and physical and provide physician’s documentations of both. Must possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and have minimal absences. Be mentally and physically capable of caring for students alone in a classroom. Demonstrate strong decision-making skills and initiative. Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, and one year of relevant experience as a project inspector on commercial or municipal construction projects; or three years’ experience in commercial building trades with a minimum responsibility of foreman; or five years’ experience in residential building trades with a minimum responsibility of foreman.
