Associates degree or three years’ experience in sales, healthcare, marketing, public relations, or social services. Equivalent experience in case management, discharge planning or social work may be considered. Must have strong organizational skills. Must have effective ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently and accountable for results. Working knowledge of computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, and Spreadsheets. Will be required to maintain confidentiality and work with discretion. Must have a valid NY Driver’s License and willingly to travel. Evening and weekends hours may be required.

Job qualification

High school graduate or current undergraduate student in a related field such as Emergency Management, Disaster Response, Life Safety, Security, Public Health, or Homeland Security. Undergraduate students in other related or relevant fields may also be considered. Must have competent technological skills and be able to work with MS Office 365 Suite software. Must maintain strict confidentiality. Valid NYS license required. Preference given to qualified Seneca applicants.

Strong personal commitment to Indigenous culture, ceremony, and community healing. Tribal affiliation or descent from a recognized Native American nation (documentation or community confirmation may be required). Ability to follow instructions closely, respect boundaries, and maintain confidentiality. Willingness to participate in long hours, irregular schedules, and potentially physically demanding tasks (e.g., fire keeping, fasting preparation, wood gathering). Commitment to learning and using Onöndowa’ga:’ Gawë:nö’ (Seneca language) as part of daily responsibilities. Experience working with youth in educational, cultural, or recreational settings. Knowledge of or connection to Seneca culture and Haudenosaunee lifeways. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Reliable, responsible, and comfortable working in dynamic, community-based environments. Seneca Nation enrollment or direct affiliation with Haudenosaunee communities. Experience with Seneca language instruction or participation in immersion programs. Background in youth work, arts education, or land-based learning. Familiarity with Indigenous pedagogical practices and community-based teaching is helpful.

Job qualification

High School diploma or equivalent. Must have at least two years of experience working with elders in Onöndowa’ga:’ Gawë:nö’. Preference will be given to individuals who have completed both instructional years of Immersion. Preference for knowledge and experience utilizing the root word method. Strong organizational and management skills. Must have excellent communication skills. Both oral and written. Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. Must have strong passion and dedication for Onöndowa’ga:’ Gawë:nö’ as made evident through assisting others in developing oral proficiency in the language

Job qualification

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in laundry operations is preferred but not required. Knowledge of safe and proper use of laundry equipment and chemicals. Ability to lift and carry laundry or containers. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral.  Must have the ability to work in a diverse cultural environment.  Knowledge of Seneca customs, traditions, and practices is helpful.  Strong organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work independently. Native preference.

Job qualification

High School diploma or Equivalent. Must have an Intermediate-level proficiency (per the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language – ACTFL) with preference for individual who have completed Immersion Years I & II. Must be CPR and First-Aid certified or willingly to obtain. Must be formally trained and certified in basic tasks associated with childcare, including NYS Mandated Reporter.

Necessary language abilities:

• Participate in conversation around a variety of topics, but with some situational limitations
• Maintain volume of Seneca speech, but lacking much detail or contextual-base
• Produce pre-pronominal prefixes, advanced suffixes, and noun incorporations, but with great difficulty and/or some loss of accuracy
• Acquire new language from modeled/routine exposure and limited instruction
• Notice and self-correct grammatical errors to a limited degree

Job qualification

Associate’s degree in accounting and a minimum of three (3)years of financial accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated proficiency in spreadsheet applications and budget preparation and analysis required. Must have supervisory experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
