Cattaraugus Community Center (CCC)

Who We Are

The Cattaraugus Community Center, or the "CCC", is a fitness facility located in Irving, NY. Under the authority of the Seneca Nation of Indians, the CCC's mission is to help promote healthy lifestyles for all of it's members. We have a variety of amenities and services including: a fitness center, an in-door track, a gymnasium, an arena, room rentals, classes, and much more.

The Cattaraugus Community Center is nestled in the heart of the Seneca Nation of Indians Territory. We opened our doors to the 92,000 square foot building on April 30th, 2011. We have over 1,800 members to date, with more being added each day.

The CCC has several fitness classes for land as well as aquatics, with intensities ranging from Insanity and Yoga to Hydro H.I.T.T and Water Polo. Each class averages about 20 students per class and is growing each week.

We also play host to several sports tournaments such as basketball, lacrosse, wrestling and martial arts. We offer “canning series” classes each year; these classes are designed to help and show students where our ancestors started from. As well as our maple syrup project, volunteers walk away with the knowledge of how to make syrup from the tree to the table.

When school is not in session due to holidays, we have activity days for children to come to our building and spend the day with us doing planned events. We also offer a summer recreation program from July to the end of August in which the staff plans events each week for the children. We do planting outside with the community in raised-bed form; we also tend to a field of corn. We offer special events around the holidays that are open to all members as well. We are a gathering place for community and as well as a fitness center; we strive to teach and live a healthy lifestyle not only for ourselves, but for our families and friends as well.

Friday - Sunday:                8am-5pm
