Tribal Utilities Department

The Utilities Department is responsible for the management and operation of drinking water production and transmission systems.  The department ensures that drinking water provided to the Seneca Nation territories meets or exceeds the Seneca Nation Health Departments requirements and Federal regulations. The department is responsible for installation of sanitary facilities and water wells for homes.

The Cattaraugus Utilities Department has regulatory oversight of the Cattaraugus Territory Systems.

The Allegany Utilities Department has regulatory oversight of the Jimersontown, Steamburg and Sullivan Hollow Systems.

Requirements for services:

• Must fill out an application for Services
• Must be an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation
• Must have a property Deed
