Job description

Under general supervision of the Lead Inspector, ensures enforcement and compliance of the Compact at gaming facilities. Observe and monitor the operation of the casino activities including, but not limited to casino layout, games, equipment, personnel, patrons and other areas of the facility relating to casino operations.  Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

Job qualification

High School Diploma or GED. One year investigative/inspection or surveillance experience. Law enforcement security, or investigative experience preferred. Gaming experience preferred. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Current valid Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within thirty days is required. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol and background investigation. Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Nation Key License.

LICENSING/BACKGROUND DIRECTOR

Job description

Under general supervision of the Executive Director, accomplishes the Licensing and Background Department’s objectives by planning, organizing and supervising all functions required to ensure vendors, employees and all other licenses are compliant with the Gaming Ordinance, the Tribal-State Compact, NIGC Regulations, SGA’s Commission internal controls, and gaming enterprise policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
Follows SGA and SNI Policies & Procedures as well as SNI Laws. Oversees the processing of new and renewal licenses for employees of all sites for the Class III Gaming Corporation and Class II Gaming & Entertainment locations. Maintains custody of SGA licensing files. Maintains strict confidentiality of all personnel information in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and SNI laws, rules, regulations, guidelines, etc.

Job qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Police Science, Business Management, Criminal Justice or related field. Three years licensing in gaming and one-year Supervisory experience. Gaming experience required. Notary Public Certification. Current valid Driver’s License or ability to obtain one within thirty days is required.
