You are invited to an Old Time Corn Bread Making Class (see attached flyer) next Wednesday March 4, 2015 5-9pm in the Cattaraugus Community Center Kitchen, 12767 Route 438, near Irving NY.

Each participant will make and get a wheel of Corn Bread. Cost is $20 at the door for ingredients and the instructors- Luis Santiago and Belinda Patterson from Tuscarora. Limited space for 15, register today with the Indigenous Women's Initiatives Seed Institute Director Nancy Johnson-Onondaga 716-361-4880.

This class is sponsored by Women Meeting of Seneca Strong, the Food Is Our Medicine Project, and the Seneca Nation of Indians. Please distribute the attached flyer widely to your email list-serves, facebook pages, twitter, instagram, etc.

This is Women Meeting's regular first Wednesday of the month at the Cattaraugus Reservation and you are still invited to join us in the dining room of the Cattaraugus Community Center even if you may not be participating in the class. If you are in need of child care please call Agnes Williams at 716-532-4228 and let me know what age of each child that you will be bringing on March 4.

Winter Cultural Arts Classes

Family Movie Night @ Saylor

Family Movie Night tonight (2-17) at the Saylor Building from 5-7pm. The movie is Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, NO GOOD, Very Bad Day. Pizza will be available on a first come basis. Parents/Guardians must remain with students at all times during the movie. 

Last Chance - Bandits Lax Game Package on Valentine's Day

Last chance to get your ticket for the Valentine's Day Bandits lax game vs Rochester Knighthawks at the First Niagara Center on Sat., Feb. 14th!  Tickets are $10.00 each and winner will receive 2 tickets to the game, parking pass, and 2 pregame party buffet tickets. Drawing to be held today at the Drug & Alcohol "Look Fors" presentation for parents at the Saylor Building beginning at 3:00pm. If interested, you may purchase a ticket at the Education Department before the presentation.

The Community Education Class "Role of Nutrition in Mind, Body & Spiritual Wellness" Postponed

The Community Education classes for the "Role of Nutrition in Mind, Body & Spiritual Wellness" scheduled tonight at the Saylor Building is postponed. This class is rescheduled and will begin on  Feb. 25th and held every Wednesday 6-7:30pm  for the next five weeks consecutively in the Saylor Dining room.  Please call the Catt.
