The 2014 SNI Community Fair will be held during spring break April 14th – 17th on the Cattaraugus territory. Numerous educational and fun filled activities sponsored by various Nation departments will take place at different sites within the territory. New this year is the “Community Fair Passport” which will get you chances for great door prizes for attending events throughout the week. Registration for the passport will take place beginning opening day. The annual SNI Department Awareness Day & Vendor Day is scheduled to take place Thurs., April 17th at the Saylor Building beginning at 10am. The Community Planning & Development Department is pleased to announce a one-day Grants Workshop for Seneca Nation Department Directors, staff and interested individuals. The Workshop will cover a broad range of topics. The Workshop's goal will be to increase the ability of the Nation's Departments and organizations to compete for and obtain additional funding in order to expand and improve services to tribal members.
The Grants Workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Community Health & Wellness Center, 36 Thomas Indian School Drive, Irving, NY 14081.
Mr. Steve Banko, the former Director of the H.U.D. Office in Buffalo will facilitate the Workshop along with staff from the Community Planning & Development Grants Office and Accounting Department's Grants & Contracts Office.
