Seneca Transit System (STS) Bus Service RFP Open Now - August 3, 2026

The Seneca Nation Department of Transportation (DOT) is looking for a Third-Party Contract Operator of Fixed Route Deviation for the Seneca Transit Systen (STS) bus service.

This contractor will provide Inter-Territory and Intra-Territory bus service between Irving, Salamanca, and Steamburg, New York to cover the Cattaraugus and Allegany territories of the Seneca Nation. This contractor will provide circulator bus service on both territories. More details can be found in the Request for Proposals.

Contract services: October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027 with an option to renew for up to three (3) one (1) year extensions.

A Pre-Bid/Proposal Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 10:00am (EST) in the
Second (2) Floor Conference Room of the Seneca Allegany Administration Building as well as virtually through TEAMS.
