Allegany Tribal Utilities Department
The Allegany Tribal Utilities Department is responsible for the management and operation of drinking water production and transmission systems. Regulatory oversight of the Jimersontown, Steamburg and Sullivan Hollow Systems and to assure that drinking water provided to SNI meets or exceeds the Seneca Nation health Departments requirements and Federal regulations.
They provide the following services:
Installation of Sanitary Facilities and Water Wells for homes located on the Allegany Territory. Requirements for services:
- Must fill out an application for Services
- Must be an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation
- Must have a property Deed
