Job description

The incumbent will work to engage the public in learning the Seneca language and encourage participation in community Seneca language use activities. Job description

Responsible for coordinating all aspects of retail product production, which includes: packaging, labeling, point of sale displays, promotions, marketing and distribution.  In addition, Retail Coordinator functions as a sales representative to develop sales partnerships and locate product placement options.

Job qualification

Associates Degree in Marketing, or other related field and 2 years of experience in developing and implementing sales campaigns.  Excellent interpersonal, customer service skills, oral and written communication skills, familiarity with delivery quotes, bills of sale, and sales reports are a must. Basic knowledge of agriculture operations and/or indigenous agriculture practices are a plus.  Retail Coordinator must be able to multi-task, remain organized.  Able to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.  Some graphic design experience is preferred. Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as marketing/graphic design platforms. Available to work weekend and evening hours, where applicable.  Local travel may be required. Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License.

Digital Content Coordinator (FT)

Job description

Incumbent is responsible for implementing content strategies to promote the mission and goals of the Seneca Nation. Responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing digital content across various online platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. Will work closely with other departments to create engaging and informative content across various platforms, including social media, websites, email, and other digital publications. This role requires a combination of creative, technical, and analytical skills to ensure that content meets strategic objectives and aligns with the brand’s voice and identity. This position may be filled remotely for the appropriate candidate. This position offers partial remote work flexibility.

Job qualification

Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic/Web Design, or related field (preferred). With at least two (2) years of experience in content creation or graphic design experience. Preferred experience with WordPress and Adobe Suite. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging, informative, and error-free content. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Ability to understand digital marketing strategies and how content can support them. Familiarity with various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email marketing software. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and willing to travel as needed. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.

Job description

Responsible for graphic design, photography, videography, audio recording, and writing for Seneca Media & Communications Center.  Provides services to Seneca Nation Departments and coverage of events.

Job qualification

Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Media Production, or related field; combined with Three years of demonstrated experience in the operation and maintenance of audiovisual equipment along with experience in editing and producing audiovisual materials. Or associate degree in above fields and six years of experience. Must have strong computer skills and a high level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.  Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Must possess a valid NYS driver’s license. Knowledge of Seneca customs, traditions, and practices helpful; ability to work in diverse cultural environment required. Must be able to work nights and weekends on occasion to cover events. Seneca/Native preference.
