Job qualification
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Public Health, or a related field from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university; with 8 years of proven experience in health, education, or social services agency, with at least four years in an administrative or supervisory capacity. Strong understanding of Nation, federal, state, and local regulations, and guidelines. Familiarity with the Seneca community and its unique needs and cultural values. Ability to develop and implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of social services. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must have competent technological skills and specifically be able to work with Microsoft Office & Windows Software. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary. Must have the ability to work in a diverse cultural environment. Knowledge of Seneca customs, traditions, and practices is helpful. Strong organizational skills and the ability to understand and manage high-profile, sensitive, or controversial projects. Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work independently. Native preference. Must have a valid NYS license.

Job qualification
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as English, Communications, Nonprofit management, or a related discipline or a written sample of work can be submitted in lieu of a B.A. Preferred two to three years of related grant writing or budgeting experience. Excellent research and analytical skills to identify funding opportunities and evaluate their alignment with organizational goals. Proficiency in grant writing techniques, including proposal development, budgeting, and reporting. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel to both territories when necessary. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must have competent technological skills and specifically be able to work with MS Office 365 Suite for editing and productivity. Must have the ability to work in a diverse cultural environment.
