Legislative Councils

The Council Office keeps the TRIBAL council fully informed by providing timely information on a variety of issues. The purpose of the program is to collect and disseminate information concerning the government and general welfare of the Nation.

The Council performs research and provides information or materials as may be requested by members of the TRIBAL Council and Executives. Duties include, compiling committee schedules, assisting in the development of agendas for committee meetings and attending public hearings and functions.

The goal of the Council is to maintain an array of general reference materials focusing on Native, State and Federal governments, programs and public policy issues.
